Shelterwood

Wendy comes to Shelterwood with knowledge and experience in Special Education, having worked at Branson school district as a Paraprofessional for the last 3 years. Born and raised in Hartman, AR, Wendy moved to the Branson area in the Fall of 1998 to attend College of the Ozarks were she received a BA degree in Sociology.  Wendy and her husband Jeremy will have been married for a year in July.  As Shelterwood School Administrative Assistant, she tends to all the office duties, making transcripts, contacting schools, and is a liaison between the houses and teachers about student needs.  Wendy also teaches a Study Skills class, for those students that may be falling behind on their work and need more one on one attention.  While working at Shelterwood Wendy says, “I feel that my job was made for me, they took my two favorite jobs, office work and working with troubled teens, and put them into one job. The Lord has placed me in a position where I can use the gifts and talents that He gave me to make a difference in others’ lives.”
