Director of Counseling | (417) 243-2021
Ryan came to Shelterwood in 2005 after serving for almost 6 years as a full time youth pastor in Oklahoma. He has a Bachelors of Science in Family Relations and Child Development from Oklahoma State University and a Masters of Arts in Christian Education and a Masters of Arts in Marriage and Family Counseling from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth, Texas. Ryan has been working with teenagers for the past 15 years and loves the challenge of being an agent of hope to young men and women. "I came to Shelterwood because of my passion to see real lifechange happen in the lives of teenagers and their families. I love the approach that Doulos takes in working as a team to help families not only get through a crisis, but come out stronger, healthier, and more Christ-centered than ever before." Ryan and his wife, Brenda have 3 children - Caitlin, Braden, and Gavin, and are very enthusiastic about serving in their church - Woodland Hills Community Church in Branson.
