Renee joined the Shelterwood School staff in 2003 after teaching English and journalism in public schools, including Branson, for 18 years. She has been married to Rich Crooker, a former Young Life director, for 29 years, and they have a daughter Erika and son Joshua. Joshua and his wife Amber recently helped God bless Renee and Rich with their first grandchild named Grayden. Renee’s passion is to help her students enjoy reading and writing as they discover and hone skills needed for immediate and future success. Renee says, “My students continually add new dimensions to my life as we explore all facets of the written word. Learning and sharing insights with them is a pleasure I will enjoy as long as God has planned. Shelterwood students have truly blessed my life.”
