Teacher (Math & P.E)
Michael joins Shelterwood High School as a first year teacher. Last year he spent the year studying the Bible at the Kanakuk Institute in Branson, Missouri, and he is excited to share his renewed passion in the Word this year through teaching Math and Physical Education. At college Michael graduated in 4 years with a Math Education degree while playing Division I basketball at South Dakota State University. During his last year of basketball eligibility, he studied 19 hours toward his Master’s Degree in Education Administration. Michael graduated from Humboldt High School in 2003 while playing various sports. Michael’s mom and dad, Sandy and Leon, live in Humboldt, and his sister Chelsey Loney is studying Biology at South Dakota State University. He cannot wait to invest in the students at Shelterwood High School to combine his talents in ministry, education, and sports.
