Shelterwood

Mark moved to Branson from the Central Valley of California where he worked as a youth pastor for five years.  Mark grew up in Southern California and went to Dordt College in Sioux Center, Iowa.  In 1999 he worked as an in house staff at a residential care facility for teens in Texas during which time the Lord sparked his interest in counseling teens.  Mark received his Masters degree from The University of Phoenix in Lathrop California in 2006 and became a Licensed Professional Counselor in 2009.   Mark has been married to Alison for 8 years and they have 3 sons Hutson, Harrison and Isaac.  His passions are being a dad, learning, sports, music, and being outdoors.  “I love looking back on the Lords work in my life and realizing that he has designed and prepared me to work with hurting families.  I am humbled by the responsibility and honored to be a part of what the Lord is doing through Shelterwood.”
