Shelterwood

Katie began working at Shelterwood in 2005 as a staff counselor, attaining her license as a professional counselor two years ago. She and her husband have lived in Branson for four years after both were raised up the road in Springfield, Missouri and have added two children to their family, Evie and Baby-on-the-way (due June 2009). After her undergrad and graduate work at Evangel University in Springfield, Katie felt called to Shelterwood after reading a journal entry she had written during college. Katie dreamed that her career would lead her to work with people in “cocoons” – those being transformed to becoming butterflies. She says she has been blessed to be a part of that work happening in the Shelterwood family.
