Shelterwood

Jim comes to Shelterwood with a wealth of knowledge and experience, having owned and operated a resort and retreat center for sixteen years, as well as serving as the director of Discipleship Focus for six years. Born in Pueblo, CO, Jim grew up in the Kansas City area and is currently working on a Masters of Experiential Education with an emphasis in counseling. He’s been happily married to Jennifer for twenty-two years and they are blessed with two teenage sons, Zac and Caleb.  As Shelterwood Director, he gets the honor of overseeing the placement, growth and graduation of the SW students. While working at Shelterwood Jim says, “The Lord has placed me in a position where I can use the gifts and talents that He gave me to make a difference in others’ lives. What a privilege to be used by God and work with other gifted and caring people who are focused on family restoration.”
