English Teacher
Chad joined the Shelterwood staff in 2009 and loves to work with teens. With a background in Student Ministry, Chad brings a lot of energy and excitement to the team and is equipped to lead teens through tough spiritual questions. Originally from the Kansas City area, he has deep roots in the community and he loves sharing its hidden history with his students. As a father of four kids (Riley, Jack Henry, Cooper and Frankie), he understands the dynamics of parenting and enjoys sharing his passion for music, martial arts and reading. Chad believes the cornerstone of a good education is the ability to think critically so he encourages each of his students to take the time to read with an analytical eye and write with courage and passion.
