Program Cost

Our program is significantly less expensive than comparable residential programs

A generous donation has just been made on your behalf. From June 21, 2010 until September 30, 2010 we are able to offer a scholarship of $1,000 per month to all new families. We are excited to pass this gift on to you so give us a call and let's find a way to help your family.

Our monthly fee can be reduced further if you recover counseling costs through insurance. With the support of the scholarship and insurance coverage, our nationally recognized program could be available to you for only $2,500 per month. That includes weekly counseling, an accredited school education, brand new facilities, and a 2:1 student to staff ratio.

Shelterwood’s standard tuition is $6,000 for the first 30 days, $6,000 for the second 30 days, and $4,800 for every month there after.

Personal Expense Account

Due to the length of stay in the program each teen will typically encounter some additional living expenses. Monthly personal expenses for each child vary based on clothing needs, medical and dental expenses, toiletries, and other unforeseen needs. We ask that this personal expense account be maintained at $400 and whatever is spent from that be reimbursed monthly. The parent must approve all expenses as they occur.
